i wonder if you can accsess Google Earth offline i dont think you can but could you i think the cache files on your computer from when you have looked at Google Earth will show i really wanna know any one who can help please tell me

im pretty sure it cannot be as they are satillite images, they HAVE to be updated. Ive tried it with my mum's dial up and it came to a complete failure, you need to have cable/broadband/adsl (whatever you call it) to make it be a sucess.

Of course is impossible to work on Google Earth offline. You must be online because it works so that it whole time download 3d model of earth from server.

nope, you can't, i have tried it on my computer, it didnt work. i also don't really like google earth cuz it doesn't show anything in my country (in europe) everything is so blurry!!!!

I just tried it. You can zoom around the world as normal, but try & zoom in on a specific area & you just get an extremely low-res image.

I'm sure you can use it offline, my friend did when he was on dial-up. And yes it works on dial-up.

hey guys Google Earth works in Dial-up, I'm using idal-up and Google Earth works flawlessly. But you've to wait for the images to load slowly.

You can also use Google Earth Offline. But you've to have the data available offline to view the satellite images Offline.

Is there a place to download a large area all at once. If I could download the USA then take it to the school computer for our students then it would help so that you don't have to go look at every place while caching.

Yes Google Earth can be used off-line too. As you go through the pages during online, this pages are saved on your system and afterwards you can be able to see those places even you are off-line.
Google Earth captures whole world and it has all places and all the cities in its directory and in a clear form. Its really helps those who want to know more about their or other cities.
Also their is one more site for viewing the maps. This is the wikimapia. It also covers the many part but not more clear than the Google Earth.
Google earth is a great product of Google for me.

alright, the best thing is that it's free. You can see some people's houses, like in nyc,
but you can also see landmarks, big cities, landscapes, and it's all woven together really well.

I have read somewhere that with the launch of Google Earth small communities have started to appear
talking about all kinds of stuff. I've even read that there are a few communities on the Aria 51
subject and I was wondering if any of you knew the coordonates of Area 51. I tried to Google that
but I couldn't find anything. It would be interesting to see the quality of the photos......

All of us must be knowing what a "wiki" is. Anyway it's a public repository of knowledge where

lets you see the world in a 3d image and zoom to any location in the world, it doesnt update its
like a 2 year old picture but its cool because you can zoom to like your house or school etc. and
